Olympic Airways is my favorite track from Antidotes, Foals latest album. There’s a sort of mellow happiness about it, and I can’t help but want to snowboard everytime I hear it.
Today was absolutely beautiful, albeit a bit windy. So I figured that it would be a perfect day to go looking for employment. I couldn’t have been more wrong. People were dismissive and at times outright rude. The one genuine person I met today was from BestBuy, where she lectured me on job strategies. It was definitely a nice gesture, but I couldn’t help feeling a bit awkward. I would say I’ll take what I can get, but I still feel that you should never be forced to settle. Even in this recession, I’ll try not to.

Dear Zachary - Trailer
While I don’t really like the trailer, Dear Zachary is a movie everyone should see. Its funny, tragically heart-wrenching, incredibly heart warming, and the saddest thing you will ever see. I enjoyed and hated every minute of it, and will never forget it.
I digg the packaging, but I agree with Gizmodo. This is an absurd solution to an absurd problem. I usually fill up my Klean Kanteen with tap and go. Its about as eco-friendly as you can get and its cheap. Works for me.
I hadn’t known that one of my all-time favorite books was being made into a film. Here’s the trailer for Where The Wild Things Are. So far, I approve.

Our epic powder day finally arrived, and it was better than we could ever have imagined. It was a bit weird that Paul and I actually got up, as we usually rely on much more responsible people to drag us up the mountain. An hour and a half drive soon turned to almost three hours, as we had to manuever through two wrecks and alot of skiddish drivers.
We couldn’t believe our eyes when we arrived. The amount of dry, fluffy “champagne” snow this late in the season was incredible. More surprises awaited us, with most of the day turning sunny with only the occassional snow shower. This picture was taken during the heaviest one, where I could lean into the wind and be still be held up. It was an awesome day, with some crazy people, and the best music. I couldn’t have asked for more. Spring riding suddenly doesn’t sound so bad.

I love summer. I do - I really do. But please, can we have one more storm? Just one more. I need it to keep my sanity.
